This is a truly amazing video put together by the good people at The Astonishing Tribe on what our future screens might look and act like. I’m now going to be dissatisfied with every piece of technology I buy until it comes close to resembling this. Thanks a lot guys.
But seriously, well worth a watch, pretty incredible to imagine the possibilities. And reminds you how much more ubiquitous information could possibly be in our lives. Great stuff.
This might be better than any infographic you’ve seen recently. Using just a small handful of Legos, the brilliant Rosling lays out some pretty significant implications for the future of humanity in under 4 minutes. Amazing display of how even some of the most difficult to grasp facts and concepts can be made relatable at the hands of the right storyteller.
Spur is a new series out of Redscout that puts some perspective on the world of planning at agencies as it is now, and thoughts on where it needs to go. Timing is particularly good coming out of Planning-ness a couple weeks back, and hopefully will spark similar interest and dialogue about all of the things we need to change.
This teaser video is a good start to the series. Think the closing quote from Dan Cherry at Anomaly might some up the change we’re all looking for in this industry best: “if you have a point of view on the strategy and the plan, why the hell wouldn’t you be involved in the doing?”
Eager to see how the rest of the series unfolds.
